Hola Alejandro!
could you please give some more details on the recyclability of aluminium? I am not well informed on this, and always a bit reluctant to use. I live in France, previously in Switzerland, and did not see that we had the possibility to recycle.
I agree that we have to live within our means. It just takes some thought and education to reuse packaging material, and not fill our trash bins. Consumers need to request less packaging, and also take their own containers when shopping. This is now very common in Switzerland, France and Germany. However, the U.S. seems to have problems accepting this habit.

As an American, living first in Switzerland, and now in Alsace, France (right across the border), I am so encouraged to see all the bike riders that use the bike as a means of transportation in Europe. There are many bike paths, although cars do not always respect them nor the cyclists. Even in the big cities (Paris, Lyon, Bordeaux), there are bikes to rent by the hour.
Advantages of cycling:
-low cost
-no pollution
-good exercise
-less traffic problems
So grab your bike and hit the path!!
